Autopiano Tubing Junction Blocks
By Skip Downing

Greetings all, I'm in the process of restoring an Autopiano upright,
and have discovered some puzzles. On the back of the upper stack are
2 junction block units, one each on bass and treble sides. The bass
has 8 through-nipples, the treble has 6.

When I received the piano the bass was tubed (in lead) to the tracker
at note holes 1-6 and 91 and 92. The treble was tubed to tracker
95-100 (or T 1-6). However, the other side of the junction blocks
weren't tubed to anything, and as this is all in original lead tubing,
I'm guessing they never were. Can anyone tell me what they were
intended to go to?

Thanks for your time,
Skip Downing,
