Herma Menth, Artrio Angelus Recording Artist
By Jim Neher

Hello friends. Dave Krall inquired in 090928 MMDigest about the best
place to find a copy of an obscure 78 RPM audio recording by Herma
Menth. Until a truly comprehensive Internet archive is assembled,
the best place to find historical piano recordings and sheet music is
the International Piano Archive at the University of Maryland (IPAM).
I have spoken to curator Donald Manildi many times, and he is always
very helpful and knowledgeable.

IPAM claims to have virtually every commercial piano recording ever
made, and when material is out of print they are willing to make a copy
for research purposes at fees that are quite nominal considering the
value of the resource.
