Kimball Player Piano Transmission Gears
By Ferdinand Pointer

I would like to correct some misinformation posted in the Digest of
09.11.25 about the availability of the black gear found in the
transmission of the Model E Kimball Electromatic player piano.

This gear, made of brass, is not available from Bob Streicher, but only
from my company, The Piano Company, Clearwater, Fla. Please do not
call Mr. Streicher, as he will only refer you to me for the part.

I spoke with Bob today and he assured me that he has never sold one of
these gears to anyone other than me and does not intend to do so, per
our business agreement of the last fifteen years.

I have a new shipment of these gears coming in, and they are available
as posted on my website: http://thepianocomany.com
You will also find complete instructions, with pictures, for
dis-assembly, installation, and re-assembly of the transmission on
the website.
