Arburo Dance Organ Tracker Bar Layout
By Nicholas Simons

Further to Marvin Horovitz's request and Jack Conway's response,
may I make a minor correction to the scale given in Art Reblitz's
book. The final paragraph is not quite correct in organs fitted with
accordions and a saxophone on counter-melody. It is correct that
when the accordion plays it silences all other stops except for the
saxophone in the counter melody.

If the saxophone is registered at the same time as the accordion, along
with many other stops which will be silenced, then the saxophone alone
plays alongside the accordion. This is achieved by suitable tubing
within the register control box. The noteur can therefore create a
duet effect between the accordion and the saxophone.

This information has been obtained from my own instrument which
I restored fully some years ago, and I have previously informed Art of
this minor correction.
