I have an A. B. Chase 65/88-note upright player piano (and others) for
sale, located in Hesperia in So. California.  This player has the
spoolbox that hinges up from under the keyboard, opening the pedal box
door, and exposing the pedals.  Although I have heard this piano has
the following interesting feature, I have not looked at it to be sure.

The entire player system (spoolbox, roll drive motor, pneumatic
stack, pumping bellows) is one self contained unit that hinges out for
removal or repair.  I have heard that this is the reason that not many
of these pianos have survived -- "gutting" that was popular years ago
when players quit working.  It has plastic key tops, and the case looks
to have been refinished not long ago.
