The Ami Revenc previously mentioned has a 17.5 inch cylinder with
two combs of equal length. 12 inches would suggest a mandolin
arrangement, the lower 5 inch not. Is the bass accompaniment of
the 5-inch section what one would expect on a mandolin box?
