It is very fortunate that stock Ford radiator hose will work for the
Baldwin but this may not be the case for other odd hose requirements.
For those who can not easily find vintage hoses there is an alternative.

NAPA, and other auto parts stores that sell to commercial users such
as truckers and mariners, sell large diameter cloth-covered hose.  This
hose is vastly superior (and more expensive) to the stuff sold by piano
supply firms -- it holds its grip for many years.  The only disadvantage
is that there is usually a stripe molded in with the manufacturer's
name and ID number.  This can be turned to a side that does not show.
Be sure to get the "fuel and vapor" hose which reinforced with fabric,
not wire; the wire-reinforced stuff is impossible to cut and difficult
to fit on fittings not specifically sized for it.

To make tight turns you can use PVC elbows which look very much like
lead or sheet metal elbows if you sand off the identification and flash
lines identification and paint them black.  It is also not difficult to
miter copper pipe and solder it to make very nice elbow.
