Regulating the Player Stack to the Piano Action
By Michael La

Hi, I finished doing some work on my Schulz player piano stack the
other day and I have put it back in the piano and I now need to
regulate the stack to the piano action. In the back side of each
pneumatic there is a little eye screw with a wooden dowel and felt
punching on each one.

I was told basically to turn these eye screws just until the hammer
starts to come off the rail, and then back the screw off a half turn;
I guess you want them close but not touching.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can let me know if that's correct?
I was also told that if that's not done, you will get a ton of lost
motion and the repetition will not be good or at all. Any help or
diagrams or pictures would be great. I'm new to the MMD and any help
from fellow subscribers is welcomed.
