This nice Automatic A-Roll of circa 1928 is being recut but it
doesn't have a name or a number -- the leader was torn from it long
ago.  John Motto-Ros, Matt Jaro and myself would like to know the
long missing identity of this roll so that we may at long last fill
in the missing piece of this musical puzzle.  Matt Jaro says:

  The roll is certainly the same as Automatic G-986.  All of the
  "G" rolls in that period have the exact same lineup as an "A" roll,
  so this is positively the set of songs on that roll.  G-986 was
  from January 1929, and the corresponding Automatic "A" roll could
  be A-1477, A-1478, A-1481 or A-1482.
