* Extra Semiramide rolls are now for sale to MMD readers *

Thank you, all, for making a recut of Rossini's "Semiramide Overture"
not only possible but really doing it!  Thanks to Larry Schuette who
coordinated the project, to Mike Swanson who had the Ampico roll and
scanned it for Bob Billings, and to thanks Bob who did a very
professional job of cutting, labeling and boxing the rolls.

This roll -- Ampico 52787, Semiramide Overture, by Gioachino Rossini,
played by Marguerite Volavy & Howard Brockway -- is written by the same
guy who wrote William Tell Overture.  It is a joy to listen to and will
challenge any piano.

Larry Schuette and I have a few extra copies available and will pass
along to MMD members at our cost ($18.35) plus postage.
