Quieting a Piano
By Neil Stevenson

Greetings to all! Can someone advise me how to quiet a player piano
further. This one is used in a day care centre for the frail aged but
it is too loud for the guests. The expression controls do work, but
only reduce the noise level marginally. Is there another way to get it
to play more softly?

[ A traditional method (especially in Down Under! ;-) is to affix
[ a nice, thick sheepskin to the back of the piano. Then place
[ the piano against a concrete or brick exterior wall. -- Robbie
