Converting General MIDI Files for Disklavier
By Dan Montgomery

Hello MMD readers, I would like to know if there is anyone who
offers conversion of MIDI files to Disklavier format as a service.
I have about 90 files I would like to convert to play on an old
Disklavier (I believe one of the first versions). I own a copy of
the Giebler software but it does not run on Windows XP and although
I was informed that an updated version is being worked on, that
doesn't seem imminent. I also found another conversion program on
the web but it didn't work for me.

Hopefully there is someone out there for whom this would be
a straightforward task and who also would enjoy making a little
extra cash. It is my goal to find that person! Any leads would
be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dan Montgomery

[ be straightforward, I suppose, but most other MIDI music files
[ were not intended for solo piano performance so much editing may
[ be needed before your MIDI file collection sounds okay when played
