Seek Adhesive to Mount Organ Pipes on Wind Chest
By Joe Kemph

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the equivalent product in the USA is
for Evo-Stik Glue? I believe Evo-Stik is used in England but I cannot
find a cross reference for it anywhere.

The reason I ask this is three years ago I built a 30-key Alan Pell
Modular Organ for my band organ project. The instruction manual says
to smear a small amount of white PVA wood adhesive (such as Evo-Stik)
around the pipe foot for mounting on the wind chest.

I used Titebond All Purpose White Glue. It seamed to work okay but
now if a pipe is just bumped, it breaks loose. I did not want to use
regular wood glue in case I needed to remove a pipe for some reason.

I have my band organ apart now to add a glockenspiel and more pipe
work, and I thought now was the time to correct this problem.

Thanks much,
Joe Kemph
