I'm surprised and really saddened to hear of Hal's passing.
It was he who found a gently used Raffin 31/84 cart organ for me
and brokered its sale.  Since then Hal sold me rolls, empty spools,
and tape cassettes of the Raffin roll catalog.  He was also very
friendly and offered plenty of good advice regarding my organ and
its music (beginning with "Mike, don't get the organ without the
cart -- it weighs 95 pounds!").

I will miss him, personally and "professionally".
