Modern Coated Fabric for Bellows Cloth
By David Dewey

Ralf Smolne wrote, "Are there recommendations for using PVC glue, too?"

I'm a traditionalist -- I don't recommend PVC glue for bellows cloth
installations, and I've seen too many disasters with modern materials
used for bellows cloth. However, I will admit that I'm a bit in the
'hinterlands' when it comes to all this stuff, so I will defer to
others.

I might add that I have a bit of a green/white cloth that appears to
be a plastic of some sort and it seems pretty good, but it has been
sitting in a drawer for 30 years now. Does anyone have an idea what it
might be, and if it's any good? It's about the thickness of standard
note cloth, and very pliable.
