I received one of the pre-production copies of John Smith's Topsy 3
plans [100327 MMDigest] and have been studying them and hope to start
my build very soon.  The plans are great, I think.  They are very
easy to understand and follow -- John has really put a lot of work
into them and it shows.  There is enough information in this package
to make even a first-time builder be able to build an organ.

I had been reading articles on MIDI off and on for some time and every
thing I found talked over my head or just plain put me to sleep, but
John has made it very easy to read and understand.

There is enough information in this package to build whatever kind
of organ you want, from a 20-note street organ up to a larger 64-note
organ that is capable of playing some very nice music.  It is well
worth the price just for the MIDI information, especially if you are
new to MIDI, and even a lot of good info for those that are in the
know about MIDI.
