Wooden Tracker Bar in Crank Melodica
By Wagner Mello

Hello MMDers, Yes, the videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/FlpBusker
are mine. The Crank Melodica is my latest machine, finished just last
weekend. Pictures of the construction, including details of the
tracker bar, can be viewed at
http://s479.photobucket.com/albums/rr152/wmbusker/Melodica/?start=all

The tracker bar holes spacing is the same used by Raffin, 3.85 mm, and
is the same used by John Smith on the Universal 26 Organ, one of my
previous projects. But the roll dimension is different. I have used
150 mm wide paper to accommodate all of the 37 notes used in the
melodica.

  Crank Melodica:
  37 notes, (F, MIDI 53, to F 89)
150 mm wide music roll, 3 mm diameter holes, spaced 3.85 mm
playing at 4 inches water column pressure
