Hello Paul,  You are absolutely correct, there were Duo-art players
imported from both England (predominantly Weber, I would suggest) and
the United States into Australia.  The machine I had was a US version,
and I cannot comment on the British model, apart from stating that it
would have been superb quality.

Just to reiterate, mine had the in-line transposer, but only for
eighty notes.  The other eight notes were selectable between Duo-art
or standard notes, and ran through the two cut-out switch pouch blocks.
No doubt, as was the custom back then, various methods of build were
experimented with, particularly if being exported as far away as
Australia.  The year of manufacture of my machine was 1927 and it
definitely had 88 pneumatics in it's stack.

All very interesting, particularly if you're trying to find out what
your model may be missing, and frustrating as some players can be from
time to time.
