Audio Recordings Of Mechanical Music
By Dave Haibach

Hi Folks, Unless I have not read the thread right, aren't we missing
one of the biggest sources of recordings -- YouTube?

Since most parents feel their child is unenlightened unless they
are masters of the computer, why not steer them to many of the fine
mechanical music videos on YouTube. I know some of are of questionable
quality, but a lot of them are superb and let people hear and see
instruments they never would have seen otherwise. If anyone is
challenged in this department, write to me and I will send you many
links.

In response to the kind suggestions of Mr. Reblitz, who I both admire
and respect, the main problem with the wonderful offerings to be made
of the San Filippo collection has been the inability for the average
enthusiast to be able to attend such an event for one reason or
another. In my case it is a physical limitation that keeps me from
traveling to such events. Even if so, the costs of my addiction to
mechanical music would be prohibitive <lol>.

Thanks again to all you kind folk who have given of your time and
resources to offer what you do on YouTube, for those that can not hear
or see, any other way.

Kind regards to all,
Dave Haibach - A long time reader and ex-owner
