Anyone who is familiar with the responses to _any_ Internet site that
has a "comments" section available knows that for every reasonably
well-thought-out comment, at least as many responses are uninformed,
ill-advised, or just plain wrong.  Add into this comments that are
mean-spirited, off-topic, or just plain gibberish, and one starts to
wonder why as many people take comments left anonymously on Internet
sites so seriously in the first place.
