Rebuilding T-98 "Green" Welte-Mignon System
By Skip Downing

Does a manual exist for the German-built Green Welte? I see lots of
listings for all the other Welte machines, but only vague references
to the Green Welte, and these are all 15 years back. I would dearly
like a manual, a tubing chart, a tracker scale, etc.

For those of you who have tackled one of these machines, the controller
unit has a brown paper seal glued to its front face and several other
places. It looks similar to Kraft paper but appears bonded and probably
airtight. Judging from its location, I'm assuming airtightness is
mandatory, so ordinary Kraft paper won't do. Any suggestions? Thin
pneumatic cloth comes to mind, but I'd like to be as authentic as
possible.

I expect this is just one of many postings about this machine that
I will make, as it came to me in boxes; I know it is incomplete, and
I have no reference material on it. Basically I'm almost 'flying
blind', except for a couple decades of experience on other machines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely, Skip Downing
