Hi All,  I have received requests concerning the make and model of the
digital piano I recently purchased.  It's a Casio Privia PX-130, which
sells on-line for $499.00.  That doesn't include the piano stand or
the 3-pedal attachment.  I did a little bargaining to get everything,
including a fold-up stool, $600.00.

However, my point in mentioning this unit is still the same.  With
the price of decent digital pianos being what they are, it's really
difficult to recommend buying a real piano to a family that has a young
child, if the intent is to start piano lessons.  Heck, even if you're
an adult and you only want to learn how to play the piano, how can you,
with a clear conscience, recommend a real piano which will cost
hundreds of dollars to move and more money to maintain.

While we might not always like it, the right thing to do is to put the
needs and desires of our customers ahead of our own personal wants.
(And from my personal experiences, doing so has always been more
rewarding in every sense of the word.)
