Roll-Operated Player Pipe Organ Census
By Bruce Clark

Many years ago, over 50 years ago, I worked for a pipe organ company.
I encountered a few player pipe organs in residences:

1. George Eastman House, Rochester, New York - a four-manual Aeolian
organ. Extant, but in very poor condition. Part of it was removed to
make a playroom for children.

2. Duffy home, Buffalo, New York - Lincoln Parkway Aeolian two manual
19-rank, harp and chimes.

3. Eisenhart home, on East Avenue, Rochester, New York - two manual
Aeolian.

4. Allen home, Rochester, New York - two manual Wurlitzer.

5. Woodward home, LeRoy, New York - Aeolian Duo-Art single player roll
cabinet, chests, pipes, Weber grand piano wired to it. No console!
The owner said there was never a console for hand playing. (?)

6. Rathborn home, Elmira, New York - Aeolian Duo-Art, severely damaged
by water.
