FS: 65-key Ruth Organ in UK
By Rob Barker

Hello everyone, At the owner's request I am advertising a Ruth organ
converted from barrel operation in the 1920s, possibly the only keyed
Ruth in existence. Arthur Prinsen did some restoration work in the
1960s and this is where the majority of the music comes from -- there
are over 100 music books with the organ.

The organ came to the UK in the 1970s, was fitted with a new front and
placed in a display vehicle where it still resides. In the late 1980s
it was restored by Andrew Whitehead who added the glockenspiel. The
organ plays well and the whole unit is ready to rally. Price £40,000
including generator, lorry, and music. Photos are on my web site,
email me if interested and I shall pass your details on.
