58-note Roll QRS 3400 "Hu-la Hu-la Cakewalk"
By Joe Taylor

I have acquired (in a shipment of 88-note rolls) an unusual roll,
as follows. It is a QRS roll No. 3400, title "Hu-la-hu-la Cakewalk",
by Van Alstyne. No other identification, the box label is faded.

The roll paper is 10-1/4 inches wide with about 6 perforations per
inch. The spool has a small round hole in the left flange and a
square hole in the right flange. The flanges are wood. If anyone
can identify what this roll goes to, please let me know.

Is anyone interested in this roll, as it is useless to me? The roll
appears to be very playable.

[ Your roll possibly is for the 58-note Story and Clark organ.
[ According to 'Perfessor' Bill Edwards' exhaustive article on
[ Egbert Van Alstyne, "Hu-la Hu-la Cakewalk" was published in 1899.
