Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music in Israel
By Vincent Morgan

[ A message from Nisan Cohen, owner of the Nisco Museum of
[ Mechanical Music in Ein Hod, Israel (just south of Haifa) --

"Progress continues on rebuilding the museum and some of its
contents. The target reopening date is March 1st. Tremendous
heat from the fire melted glue bonds on some important instruments
such as the Orchestrelle, the Welte and the Steinway. It seems
that restoration on these instruments will go beyond the opening
date, but in any case we open on March 1st.

"Many thanks for your efforts on the museum's behalf. Will
acknowledge any contributions with a thank you and a receipt
which can be applied as a tax deduction. Again, thank you much
  and regards, Nisan."
