Duo-Art pianos that play "jumbo" rolls, with top actions and metal
cones to govern the speed, occasionally need to have their rubber tires
replaced.  You may have looked around for rubber to replace the rubber
tires that run between the cones.

Many years ago Bill Koenigsberg, of Boston AMICA, who has had two of
these pianos, gave me the specs for the correct rubber for these tires:
1/8 inch thick, and register between 50 & 60 hardness on the Shore
durometer "A" scale.  Any harder and they skid, if softer they mush
around.  I ran one on one piano for about 20 years, I know it works.

Recently I needed to replace them on both my pianos, and had to buy
a piece of rubber 6" x 36" x 1/8".  Needless to say, even after making
several spares for both pianos, I have lots extra.  If you would like
punchings for your piano, let me know and I will gladly send you them
for cost of postage.
