Duo-Art Won't Play Chords Softly

Yes, a Duo-Art should be able to play that chord in "Clair De Lune"
softly, provided that

 - the channels in the stack were all re-shellacked, and
 - the valve wells and
 - the pouch wells and
 - the bleeds are sealed in place and even, and
 - your piano action is smooth and even.

If everything is as when Aeolian built it -- absolutely -- then the
piano should play those notes, no problem.

Mel Septon supplies brass nipples with an elbow on one end which are
long enough to slide all the way through the bleed block. They have
the proper size bleed already cut into them.

If the resealing of the inside of the stack was skipped in the
rebuilding process, then it will have to be torn down and done right.
Hopefully the technician used hot hide glue.
