FS: Lot of Picturoll Piano Rolls
By Lee Rothrock

For those who don't know, the Picturoll series is a line of piano
rolls which were made for photoplayers to accompany silent films.
Years ago, when my best buddy had a party in his game room, we would
put one of them on to accompany a particular 8-millimeter cowboy film
he had where the struggle between the good guy and the bad guy on the
edge of a cliff ended with the bad guy falling off. We knew just
where to cue it up to.

The rolls have titles like "The Call for Aid", "Love's Awakening",
"Haunted Nights", "The Giggling Girl", and so on. My pal has been
gone for many years, and we no longer have any occasion to play them.
These would most likely be useful to someone with a photoplayer and
a collection of silent films, who would like to put on an authentic
show. The "Fight" rolls have lots of holes in them.

I haven't looked through them all any time lately, but as I recall
they are mostly in good shape. There are thirty of them, and I would
be pleased to let them go for $100 plus shipping. It would be nice
to see them go where they will be used and appreciated. If you are
interested, please specify your preferred method of shipping, and
I will pack them up and quote a total to the first responder.
