Unusual Screw Thread May Be Sewing Machine Thread

As per my experience as an industrial sewing machine mechanic for
over 48 years, SIMANCO, the Singer Manufacturing Company, had their
own threads between standard and metric, so they forced you to buy
from them only. Now things are changed and you can buy taps and dies
from industrial sewing machine distributors for these odd threads.
