Regarding Craig Smith's posting in 110801 MMDigest of Wood & Brooks
Archives.  I note one error in the Wood & Brooks records now at the
Smithsonian.  They show the company as being located in North
Tonawanda, New York.

They might have moved but the building that I remember is at the
junction of Ontario Street and Old Kenmore Avenue, on the city boundary
line between Buffalo and Tonawanda (Kenmore) in Erie County.  North
Tonawanda is two miles north in Niagara County.
