FS: Replica Orchestrion Parts Etc.
By Tony Marsico

I am offering for sale two built-up orchestrion kits. One is a Coinola
SO replica case with "Operators Piano Co." plate and soundboard from
probably a Reproduco. The case is about 7-1/2-feet tall, with stained
glass door and birds, not original. It has a 10-tune replica Coinola
spool frame and various other action parts, Link style xylophone and
primary. Needs a stack made for it, I have Simplex pneumatics for this
purpose.

I need to move it, I will never get time to build it. I paid 2,000
dollars for it, I'm looking now for only $1,000 for it. The spool frame
all by itself is worth $500. If I can't sell it I will have to chop it
up.

The other kit is a Chase and Baker build-up red mahogany cabinet, the
cabinet height is extended 25 inches. New pins, strings, pin block,
hammers, butts, dampers, key tops, keyboard drilled for tubing to a
roll frame underneath. Player action drilled for extra instrument.
Case refinished, closed pore lacquer finish. Nickel plated pedals.
Needs a new front made and everything assembled. Looking for $1,000
for that one too.

I also have various 153 style toe boards, trumpet toe board (cherry)
and slide, other toe boards, and stop actions, a 146 chest and/or
duplexing chest for pattern or restoration. Make offer.

Thanks,
Tony Marsico
