Hi Group,  I took another look at the Pianino roll lists after
reading Don Teach's posting [110805 MMDigest].  I see that all small
core rolls up to the 800 series contain 6 tunes.  I also see that all
of the 800 series and one 900 series roll on the lists contain 5 tunes.
From this it appears that Wurlitzer, at some point in time, changes
from furnishing 6- and 12- tune rolls to 5- and 10-tune rolls.

I wonder if any other Pianino owners would be willing to share their
roll lists for study.  Maybe we might be able to determine the date
the rolls changed by the date that the songs were copyrighted.

The second list that I have contains all original rolls.  The larger
rolls don't seem to divide as easily.  The following rolls have the
number of tunes shown in parentheses: 5003(12), 5166(12), 5179(11).

All of the following rolls have 10 tunes: 5091, 5211, 5233, 5450, 5454,
5458, 5459, and 5461,
