Hello All --  Re Dampp-Chaser, I guess if used properly they work.
However, many customers do not do so.  I heard of a tuner for a church
piano watching a lady pouring water into the thing _too_ often.

I still think that blasting water vapor or heat inches away from the
soundboard is no good.  I do remember old folks that put a big pan of
water on the floor under the piano or on a radiator!
