Repairing the Separators Inside a Disc Cabinet
By Charles Davis

Hello, I am restoring a dick cabinet for Regina 15-1/2 inch discs.
The inside vertical disc holder box has bowed considerably at the
bottom; it seems to have sagged over the years and the partitions
have moved out of place. It now has been carefully removed and a
center brace placed into the opening of the bottom of the cabinet
to help support it better.

Would any of you please advise me as to how I could possibly
straighten this out? I am considering placing it into a pan of water
to soak, before trying to put it back into the cabinet, as I fear that
to try to assemble it dry might split the wood at several locations
along the bottom. Photos are available, please help with advice in
any way you can.
