The AMICAns on the 2011 visited Great Dorset Steam Fair (GDSF) on
Wednesday and, so I am reliably told, all had a great time.  I guess
some of them will write in to MMD shortly and tell about this years
convention here in the UK.  I had the genuine pleasure of meeting many
of them at the Brentford Musical Museum a few days beforehand and also
in Suffolk this week.

This year GDSF had fewer items of mechanical music, although still over
40 organs.  This seems a positive move as it allowed enthusiasts to
better appreciate what was there rather than being assailed with a
cacophony of organs at every turn.
