Wurlitzer 146B Band Organ at Veterans Day Parade
By Rob Goodale

This past Friday we brought our Wurlitzer 146B band organ to the annual
Veterans Day parade here in Las Vegas. It is one of the biggest in the
country, with an estimated 40,000 in attendance (at least according to
the media). The organ performed flawlessly, well in tune, and the
people loved it. We received many complements and even some inquiries
about possible use at future events.

I am convinced that the best way to encourage people's interest in
mechanical music is to bring it to them. This was a perfect opportunity
to do just that. Lots of "wows", pointing fingers, and fascinated
expressions say it all! A short video has been uploaded to YouTube.
