Indeed it is the season for sharing automatic musical music.  We
put up a fantastic tree here at Farnsworth House and invite children
(accompanied by their parents) to see and hear the whole thing.

I personally invite the folks I see at the gym to bring their kids and
grandkids out for a look at it.  A 15-foot tree and a player pipe organ
pretty much do them in!  An 8-year old was pumping an 88-note Vorsetzer
in front of a Steinway B, and pictures were taken.

I love the wonderment in kid's eyes when they see a music disc operating
a music box.  The keys moving on a reproducing piano are often met with
blank stares accompanied by smiles.  Touching a Victor reproducer and
understanding that vibrations make sound just lights them up.

Sharing is 90 % of the fun!
