Unknown Typeface on Reed Organ Stops
By Bill Budenholzer

Strictly speaking, these are neither type face nor font -- they are
a highly ornamented or serifed calligraphy. These were most likely
engraved freehand by some unknown artisan. This form seems peculiar,
with capped u's and odd diagonal serifs on most of the lower case
letters; I doubt you will find an exact match.

The style is, as Robbie suggested, similar in form to "blackletter",
"Gothic" or so-called "text", sometimes referred to as "Old English
Text", even though many examples in German and other western European
languages exist.

If you are trying to reproduce the missing labels, some sort of photo
editor may prove to be the best solution.
