Seek Help for Player Piano in Washington
By John Clear

I am looking for help with my 1915 upright Aeolian Stroud Pianola.
The piano has been professionally tuned but when I play various rolls
on it in it's (electric) player mode, some rolls seem to work great but
others not.

Is this due to manufacturer of the role (QRS, etc.), the number of
vacuum holes in my tracker bar (90) overall, or some other factor that
I am, as yet, unaware of?

I have a hand pump and have used it on the tracker bar several times.
Should I pick up an 88-note test roll from QRS? Thanks for any help.

Best regards,

John Clear
