In the past some people (including myself) have replaced the air
motor in the Ampico A drawer with a Bodine gearmotor and solid state
controller.  It's been so long ago that I did that and I no longer have
the information of the model of gearmotor and controller.  Does anyone
here have that information?

I want to use the gearmotor in a build-up Welte Philharmonic spoolbox
I'm reassembling.  It originally used a regular Auto Deluxe air motor.
I need to conserve vacuum by eliminating the air motor.  I have the
Welte transmission.

It's interesting that the Welte Philharmonic rolls were recorded at
a very specific speed, but no Tempo indications were ever printed on
the rolls and the air motor Tempo control has no indications of speed.
Seems to me the shaft speed range would be the same as the air motor,
but I don't know what that is.
