I agree totally with Rebecca Lawrence -- this long awaited work is
really a must for the mechanical music community.  Few publications
have the ability of reader attention for both novice and professional
audiences, but this book does that and contains many details to help
pretty much everybody.

Excellently laid out and presented, key information is easily
obtainable, with checked and double-checked facts revealed confidently.
The accompanying DVD is a superb 3-D touch which brings selected
passages to life.

Mr. McElhone is to be congratulated on the creation of a book which
can be trusted and referred to by many, for years to come.  It gives me
the incentive to get going with my book (four years in the note-making
stage!)
