Serinette Restoration
By Don Day

Hello Reg Smith, The best person we know for serinette restoration
is Walter Dahler of Unterbozberg, Switzerland. He did a splendid
restoration of a rare serinette that was crushed in the 1989 Loma
Prieta earthquake. It was in Ralph Heintz's workshop when the
earthquake happened. I do not know if Walter would want to do only
a bellows recovering, but he might. If you need his postal address,
let me know.

If you find someone in the U.S.A. who will recover the bellows, I would
very much appreciate knowing. I need a bellows recovered on a cylinder
musical box with a reed organ section, and also on a small harmonium.
They should not be so different from a serinette in that respect.

Hope your search is successful.
