Carousel at Mannion's Park, St. Louis, Missouri
By Jim Quashnock

I've hit sort of a dead end trying to get information on Mannion's
Park that was located in St. Louis, Missouri, back in the 1930s and
'40s. The park had changed names several times over the years:
Sauter's Park in the 1920s, Down's Park in the '30s, Mannion's Park
in the '40s. On-line searches produce only one picture of the park.

Is there anyone in the St. Louis area that can help me in trying to
locate historical pictures of the park, specifically the carousel?
E-mails to the St. Louis area historical society have gone unanswered,
and a phone call to same reached a person who was of no help. I am
pretty certain that the Wurlitzer 105 I have started life there. It
would be nice to get some history and pictures.

Thank you,
Jim Quashnock
