Dear Wally, Greetings from The Bronx. I don't know if you're aware,
but PianoDisc systems do require software updates. You might want to
try contacting their web site for information as to whether they can
send you an update disc or whether you need a tech to do it for you.
While at the web site, check for dealers and/or Technicians in your
area:

Does your model have an infra-red remote, and if so, does the system
still play too loud when using either the remote or the buttons on
the controller unit, or both? It maybe only a glitch in the software
or a problem with an IC (Integrated Circuit) board.

Then again, you might want to try what a reputable piano dealer in
Long Island told their customer to do with the same problem: "Just
put a blanket over the piano!"

Hope this helps, Sincerely,
Dale F. Rowe
