Value of Sirion 19-1/2" Disc Shifting Music Box
By Marcus Pregler

Hello Friends, somebody in Germany offered me, for my private
collection, a 19.5" Sirion disc shifting musical box. It is priced
very highly and to make sure that I get my investment back one day,
I'm asking for advice now.

The box is a table model in very good but unrestored condition, double
comb, and comes with 28(!) good discs, which have all two tunes on them.

The mechanism to change the tunes works perfectly, all teeth are there,
the dampers are good. It is original, untouched condition.

It is not easy to find a price for such rare items, so it would help
to know how many Sirions of this size have survived until today. Does
anyone of you know any auction results of these boxes? Was there one
on the market in the last few years, and if so, how was it priced?
Any information will be helpful.

Thanks a lot, from Bavaria,
Marcus Pregler
