FS: Duo-Art Action Removed From Steinway Grand
By John Daly

I have a complete Duo-Art action that was pulled from a small Steinway
grand several months ago. To all appearances both the piano and the
Duo-Art had been recently rebuilt. Although I never got the hear the
Duo-Art play, it certainly looked as though it had received careful
attention.

I acquired the Duo-Art from the technician who gutted the piano
because, he claimed, he couldn't voice it properly with the "player"
in the piano. There are lots of silent former Duo-Art grands out there,
so hopefully this action will find a home.

So far as I can tell it's all here. I'm uncertain what price to place
on it. I know that when I need parts like this, they cost me dearly.
And a successful installation will increase the value of someone's
piano a great deal. I'm going to ask $1,000, as is in Melbourne,
Florida, but I'm open to any offers including trades or a donation to
a good cause. My email address off list is below.
