Hello Jeff,  We have had problems before with the PPCo speed controls.
All of them have had a bad triac that needed to be replaced.  I have
been looking through my notes but it seems I can't find the part number
for the triac.  If you know somebody who fixes electronics they should
have no problem replacing it.
