Ampico Transmission Frame & Rubber Motor Mounts
By Don Teach

Thanks for the response to my Ampico parts. I have only rebuilt one
Ampico piano so I do not know the answers to some of the questions
I have gotten. I only made a mold for the rubber mounts to make them
in strips because someone said I couldn't do it.

I have made the frames for the transmissions off and on for several
years. I have not been doing them for the past two years as I have
other commitments. If you feel that you can machine these then please
feel free to contact me for the castings. They look like they are
cast from an original frame but it was actually a frame [pattern] made
a little larger to account for shrinkage in the casting process.

Hopefully after the first quarter of next year I will have some time to
start making Seeburg knobs and spools, Coinola parts, Wurlitzer parts,
coin entries and Ampico A transmission frames.

My specialty has been parts for the nickelodeon guys. My most popular
part has been the Seeburg brass coin entry. I was very proud of those
and I sold the bulk of them to one picky restorer in Ohio; he approved
of them. So stay in touch and feel free to hammer me with an
occasional email.
