Pencilled Number on Kalliope Soundboard

In rebuilding a 25-inch (64 cm) Kalliope upright I find a penciled
number "39058" on the soundboard under the bedplate.  Does anyone
know if this is significant?  Is it from original production or
possibly an earlier rebuild?
